Nervous Nefarius by WH Clark

Psychology has advanced far beyond Nietzsche’s sage aphorisms.  Too far! This book returns to the 1800s with observations of the human condition worthy of the Master. They cut through to the bone marrow.

All psychology research into homosexuality has been banned for generations. Now, all research into the 25+ sexual variations has been banned as well. I’m schizophrenic. What if this ban on sexuality prevents the discovery of a cure for my condition? This gives me free rein to delve into this forbidden zone.

The book is written as a series of short observations, Nietzsche-style. The material comes from decades of notes I keep in small notebooks. These are the best of my observations, in no special order.

If anything, the theme comes from Scientology and L Ron Hubbard’s idea of “engrams,” small packets of stress that lodge in your joints to cause arthritis, and suffer all manner of ailments elsewhere in the body corpus.  This was a really bizarre and radical notion at the time, but not so much anymore.
